Rock the World Parent Parties 

Do you like to entertain? Are you looking for a fun way to support the school? We have an opportunity for you to have a great time and raise money for CFI 84. CFI 84 has a history of fundraising through parent parties, and the Rock the World Committee is looking for new and past hosts willing to organize a parent party or help someone else organize. These events are a fun way for you to get together with other parents or families in our community.

Here are some quick FAQ's about these Parties

​

  • Who should host?

    • Hosts can be one family, two families, or a group of families.

  • Where do the parent parties happen?

    • Parent parties can be at your house, a friend's house, a park, or another location.

  • How many people would attend?

    • You get to set the number. Past events have hosted anywhere from 4 to 50 people, some with kids allowed and others no kids.

  • When do we have to host?

    • The parties should be any time of your choosing between Jan-July 2023.

  • Is there a set theme?

    • This is YOUR party! It can have a theme, an activity, or just an opportunity to get together. Examples of past house party themes include, vino & vinyl, beer & cheese tasting, math night, low country boil, picnic in the park, game night, cookies & cocoa, Hawaiian luau, and a card party.  Have fun with your planning!

  • How do the parties raise money?

    • The Rock the World Committee will sell tickets to the parent parties through the same site that  you will purchase tickets for Rock the World.

  • What do I have to do?

    • As a host, you simply have to let us know about the event you'd like to have, and we'll take care of selling the tickets and promoting the event! We will give you a list of those who purchased tickets and you take it from there.​

Parent parties are not only a way to raise money for the school, but are also a way to bring our community closer through meeting new people and forging new friendships.
