Book Fair: Organize book fairs for the school-usually one each semester. Works on timing, location and vendors and coordinates payment.

Fundraising: The PTSA budget is covered almost entirely from the following Fundraising Committees:
The Ultimate Parent Party - Rock the World: The committee plans and coordinates the school's main fundraising event, Rock the World, an adults-only party supporting the PTSA.

Silent Auction: Occurs during Rock the World. This committee solicits,
organizes, and sets up an extensive silent auction with both in-
person and also online bidding.
OPEN: Always looking for prospective auction items and members to
support auction and bidding software setup.

Parent Parties: This committee helps organize parent parties that convene parents (and sometimes school families) for events at homes or venues across Midtown. Hosts typically covering the cost of the
party and all proceeds otherwise going to the school.

Gardening & Outdoors: Works on maintaining the amphitheater area year round and coordinates our student spring mulching and garden day.

Hospitality & Teacher Appreciation: Assures the staff lounge is stocked with necessary items, plans and executes Teacher Appreciation week (May), organizes meals for staff on Parents-In-Touch and Student-Led Portfolio Conference days, organizes Veteran's Day Programming (November)

Movie Night: Organizes the Fall outdoor movie night for CFI students and families.

New Family & Community Support: Helps orient new families to the CFI84 Community and plans social events to facilitate introductions.

PTSA Coordinators
Coordinators organize and recruit occasional volunteers.

CFI Parent Equity Team Liason: Helps coordinate communication and opportunities of involvement with the CFI-wide Parent Equity Team efforts and events.

Chit Chat Book: Coordinates a school-wide directory that can be found both online and hard copy.

​Dine to Donate: Partners with local restaurants to have a portion of the proceeds be donated to the PTSA

Edukits: Works with teachers and staff to develop student class supply lists and distributes ordering information.

Evening of the Art Coordinator: Plans a Spring event showcasing CFI84's arts programs.

Grade Parent Coordinator: Helps with communication to and coordination of grade parents.

Parent Coffee & Copy: Organizes monthly gathering to assist teachers with various tasks (copying, laminating, etc) over coffee.

Spirit Wear: Manages spirit wear inventory and coordinates sales of items

Volunteer Coordinator: Handles requests from chairs, coordinators and staff for all volunteer opportunities at the school, and communicates these opportunities to parents/guardians.
